Love Is Blind’s Ali claps back over claims she’s had plastic surgery

The spotlight’s been pretty bright lately for Ali Lima.

With cameras on, pod conversations flowing, and date night looks to rival a runway, she’s become something of a Love Is Blind icon.

But along with the glam came whispers, and sometimes full-on shouts, about whether Ali has gone under the knife… or needle.

From moment one, Ali showed she’s no wallflower.

During Love Is Blind season nine, her mix of confidence, background as a nurse, and unapologetic flair made her stand out.

What caught extra attention? Ali herself admitted to getting cosmetic treatment, telling the cameras she uses Botox as part of how she presents.

Those remarks seemingly got people talking.

She openly referenced the idea of tweakments, and asked Anton Yarosh after their night shifts at work whether he’d be up for splashing the cash on her Botox regime. He didn’t seem too up for it. And, appeared to be more interested in getting the mimosas flowing.

But the moment itself gave an insight into how Ali sees self-care as part of her routine.

Now, she addresses those surgery rumours

Here’s where things get interesting. As speculation ramped up around whether Ali had gone further than just fillers, she finally weighed in with her own message.

Ali responded to internet chatter suggesting she’d had multiple surgical procedures, emphasising that while she’s had non-surgical enhancements, the narratives of major cosmetic surgery were off the mark, per Us Weekly.

She made a point of separating ‘I get injectables’ from ‘I had a full surgery,’ and that distinction matters.

Clapping back at criticism coming her way, Ali wrote over a video of herself this October: “She looks nothing like her sisters, she must have had so much plastic surgery…”

The Love Is Blind star then mimed: “No, Sir.” Ali’s lip-sync may have been subtle, but she’s still telling people how things really are.

Ali’s attitude? Refreshing. She didn’t deflect or disappear. Instead, she engaged and addressed the rumours head-on, with a mix of humour and awareness!

What’s more, she’s teased that there’s more incoming with her caption, writing: “Info on my transformation coming right up cuties.”
